Optimizing PC performance:
Advanced System Care: Advanced-SystemCare
turn on turboboost
>tool box>smart ram (let it run in the background, and turn on all the options)

Gamebooster: Gamebooster
turn on gameboost mode


GGPO: ggpo-build-030

General Settings: open ggpofba and use these recommended settings

Video...
-Select blitter> Enhanced (Direct 3D 7)
-Blitter options>Enable scanlines
-Blitter options>Set scanline intensity... 220
-Stretch>Correct aspect ratio
-Window size>Triple size (or Double if your monitor resolution is small)
-Monitor properties>Widescreen CRT aspect ratio (16:9)
-Force 60hz refresh rate
-Auto Frameskip

Misc...
-Set application thread priority>High
-Uncheck "auto pause"

Maximize the window

Do's and Don't's
-Don't use fullscreen: your character will be teleporting on the opponent's end.
-Set your in game video settings higher then they need to be
-Set your smooth at 1 or 0 for opponents with 80ping or less (option at top right of ggpo chat)
-Make sure all downloads are off before opening GGPO


Latency Fix
GGPO Latency Fix ver.3 / 10-28-12
Leatrix Latency Fix makes your computer acknowledge packets immediately, so subsequent data is sent to your computer in the shortest possible time. whats this mean? much lower pings with all players and less lag the more players that have this installed.
(Note: You need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.  Works with windows XP sp3 to win 8.)


Setting up 3S
-Get these two files and put them in your ggpo/Rom folder: fiii3n.zip & sfiii3.zip
-Get the savestate file and put it in your ggpo/savestates folder: sfiii3_ggpo.fs

Setting up MvC
Get this file and put them in your ggpo/Rom folder: mvc.zip


Buttons macros configuration
-Open GGPO's FBA; hit F5 after loading game.
-Map the keys you want for your macross on to "P1 Coin" and "P1 Start."
-Open the sfiii3n.ini config file, copy and paste the switch values from "P1 Coin" and "P1 Start" to the macros.
-Close FBA, save sfiii3n.ini.
-Open FBA, hit F5, now set the buttons you want for "P1 Coin" and "P1 Start."

(Note:  To map the same buttons you have for 3S to other games, simply copy and paste the entire sfiii3n.ini to another game's ini file.)
